2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups SPLENDA granular 2 Tablespoons baking powder 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup butter or margarine 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups skim milk 2 teaspoons vanilla 4 cooking apples, peeled and sliced
Topping: 1/3 cup SPLENDA granular 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Sift the dry ingredients together. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Beat the eggs well. Stir in the milk and vanilla. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
Turn out into a greased 9x13" baking pan. Push the apples well into the batter.
Topping:
Stir the topping ingredients together well. Sprinkle the cake batter with the topping and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
