1 pound roll sausage 1 cup diced onion 1 cup diced green bell peppers 1 Tablespoon chili powder 1 teaspoon ground cumin 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce 3/4 cup water
Crumble and cook sausage in large skillet over medium heat until browned.
Next, add onions and cook until tender. Drain off excess drippings.
Bleand in seasonings and green peppers to sausage mixture. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Garnish with diced onions and shredded cheese, if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
Makes: 4-6 servings
