"MOINK" MEATBALLS 3 pounds hamburger meat 1 pound bacon (run through food processor to grind up like hamburger meat) 1 cup oatmeal- (grind fine in food processor) 1 (12oz) can evaporated milk 1 cup cracker crumbs 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 teasp. garlic powder 1/2 teasp. black pepper 2 teasp. chili powder 1 egg Mix all together & shape into golf ball sized balls. I used a stainless steel wire oblong basket to put the meatball on. (The kind made to use on the grill.) Cook in smoker until done, approx 1 1/2 hours. Moink. Moo (for the cow), Oink (for the pig) equals....MOINK. When I made this recipe, I made it in larger amounts, and it made 50 LARGE meatballs. We made meatball subs with spaghetti sauce and motz. cheese melted on top! LARGER RECIPE FOR "MOINK" MEATBALLS 5 pounds of hamburger meat 1 1/2 pounds of bacon - ground in the food processor 1 (12oz) can evaporated milk 1 1/2 cup ground oatmeal 1 1/2 cup cracker crumbs 1 large chopped onion 1 teasp. garlic powder 1 teasp. black pepper 3 teasp. chili powder 2 eggs Mix together & shape into meatballs. This recipe made 50 LARGE meatballs. To make it easier to shape the meatballs, moisten hands with water and the meat will not stick to your hands. Keep moistening hands as needed until all meatballs are made.
