Cuban Steak
3 lbs bottom round steak (about 1/4" thick) 2 cups balsamic vinegar 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1 onion, diced 1 garlic clove, crushed 2 tomatoes and/or tomatillos, roughly chopped 1/2 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
Place all the ingredients in a sealable plastic bag (ZIPLOCK). Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Remove steaks from bag; discard remaining ingredients.
Broil or grill the steaks for approximately 5-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
Slice thin and serve with tortillas and black beans.
